We met up with our homeschool park group today. The park we meet at is literally around the corner from our house and it's a great park with a great playground and a wooded area that is inaccessible from anyplace but the playground :) The kids all congregate in the wooded area and play while the moms chat.
Today, while the kids were playing, they found a little field mouse. This little guy allowed them all to pick him up, he would leap down, but never run away. Either he was terrified or possibly sick. Either way, I hope he felt some love today, as these kids surely did love him.
And we made them all wash their hands afterwards.
