We spent a day in Big Basin seeing BIG trees. Massive trees. Awesome trees. We learned that these trees are 2000 years old and that they grow in circles and at one time there was a tree in the middle of that circle and these trees are offspring from that tree. That tree was also at least 2000 years old and there is no sign of it anymore...so these trees are offspring of trees that were established 4000+ years ago! Amazing!
