Beach Day

It's been super warm in New Jersey and I really think that the kids and I are definitely already in summer mode (despite there still being 14 days of school!).  Yesterday, we decided to pack up and head for the beach.  It was an absolutely, positively PERFECT day in every way!

Perhaps the best part of the day was watching A enjoy the waves.  Last summer was the first summer that she got adventurous enough to attempt body surfing with Jason or I.  This year she was willing to continue to body surf long after we had had enough.  Quite honestly, we had to coerce her to come in and eat something periodically.  We could not get her out of the water...she just loved it!  Which was so wonderful to see!

Allie also made some new friends yesterday.  I love that my girl is the kind of kid that makes friends EVERYWHERE she goes :D
