One of my goals this month was to enter my first blog contest. When I saw Home Is Where You Start From's L.E.N.S. Photo Challenge: Properties of Water, I immediately thought of this day when we went to the beach last month. My oldest, A is on the right. This was the first summer that she was brave enough to body surf alone. She met two girls on the beach, both around her age, and they became fast beach day friends (ahhh...the power of water and a sunny day!). Here, they were 'almost' daring enough to try boogie boarding or body boarding, but they thought of themselves more as --surfers?--CREATIVE, FUNNY KIDS!
