We had a leak in the wall behind the tub.
Turns out that the little plunger thingee on the spout thingee (like my technical terms!?!!) had stopped working properly and was shooting water out the back of the spout thingee and into the wall every time we took a shower.
Luckily, we have a panel behind the wall and could easily get in and diagnose the problem. (Also, luckily there was no mold!)
Hubby and I headed to Lowe's to get a replacement.
The awesome guy at Lowe's told us to call the manufacturer, because we have a lifetime warranty on the faucet.
I admit, that sometimes I chuck those warranty cards.
Luckily, I had not chucked them five years ago when we did the bathroom!
Delta came through!
Within days of calling, they'd shipped us a brand spankin' new spout thingee!!! Totally & completely FREE OF CHARGE!!!!
The hubby installed it...and the leak is gone!!!
Yippa dee doo dah!!!! Yippa dee ayyy!!!
