Our family uses Dove products and we have for a long time. Dove is synonymous with quality in our household. In winter, Dove is the only soap and body wash that keeps our dry skin hydrated without making it feel oily.
Ever since Dove launched their beauty campaign proclaiming every woman was beautiful--I have been a huge fan, using Dove shampoos and conditioners and styling products in addition to the soaps and body washes.
I was thrilled at the opportunity to review the latest Dove conditioner for damaged hair.
While I live in New Jersey, I don't have BIG hair. But I do blow dry my hair almost every day and I do use styling products in my hair. Heat and styling products damage hair over time. I also have oily hair. I have tried other conditioners for damaged hair and I barely make it through the day before I feel that my hair is weighed down with whatever those conditioners are using to coat the hair strands to prevent damage. Dove conditioner is not like that. It does not weigh my hair down or make it oily.
Summer is a particularly tough time for hair, what with beach vacations, chlorinated swimming pools, the sun drying your hair when you are without a hat. Hot summer weather can make hair frizzy and ends dry out quicker.
Dove advanced conditioners provide nourishment to not only protect hair, but also to repair dry, damaged, brittle hair. The Micromoisture Serum targets already damaged areas and repairs the surface by sealing lifted cuticles.
After washing and rinsing my hair, I squeezed out excess water and applied a dollop of Dove Daily Moisture conditioner. I finger combed the conditioner through my hair and sort of ran my fingers tightly over my hair to really get the conditioner in there (I have no idea if that actually works, but it seems like it would). I left the conditioner on while I finished my shower, shaving my legs, etc. Upon rinsing it out I felt a difference in the softness of my hair. NO JOKE. My hair felt silkier and healthier the very first time I used it! Dove Advanced Conditioner Daily Moisture left my hair soft and smooth, without a greasy residue!
I recommend this product!
